Lauren DiPace Konsul

Lauren DiPace Konsul joined Klee, Woolf, Goldman & Filpi in November of 2022. Prior to that, Lauren served as an attorney at the New York Prosecutors Training Institute, Inc. (NYPTI) since 2009. A native of the Capital Region/Hudson Valley area, Lauren uses her knowledge of criminal law, appeals, victim advocacy, technology, and science to help injured and disabled workers throughout New York State.

In 2013, Lauren became NYPTI's Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor (TSRP). As the TSRP, Lauren provided training and support for prosecutors on the topics of driving while impaired, vehicular manslaughter, and other vehicular crimes. Lauren also assisted prosecutors with expert witness research, legislative history, legal writing, and a variety of other topics. Additionally, Lauren has litigated in the Court of Appeals, New York's highest court, as well as the mid-level Appellate Divisions of the Supreme Court, in the Third and Fourth Departments as counsel to several District Attorneys' Offices.

Prior to becoming the TSRP, Lauren devoted much of her time at NYPTI to developing Prosecutors' Encyclopedia, an internet and technology-based resource for state and federal prosecutors throughout the United States. Lauren gave live and online presentations and developed training materials to introduce prosecutors across the country to Prosecutors' Encyclopedia.

Lauren is a cum laude graduate of Albany Law School and a summa cum laude graduate of the Sage College of Albany (now the Russell Sage College). While at Albany Law School, Lauren enjoyed being a teaching assistant for first-year law students, instructing them on proper research methodology, citation, legal writing, and oral advocacy.
