Sigfredo joined Klee Woolf Goldman & Filpi in January 2026. He is an experienced attorney in New York workers compensation claims representing both claimant’s and insurance companies. With more than 15+ years in the legal profession, he has developed a reputation for rigorous analysis, strategic judgment, and a steady command of complex legal litigation. He advises and represents claimants at workers’ compensation administrative hearings, expert depositions, settlement negotiations, and motion practice. In addition, he has practiced regulatory compliance, corporate transactions, and financial market matters

He holds a Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration in Finance, both earned cum laude from the University at Buffalo, where he graduated in the top‑15% of his law class. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Sports Business Management, also cum laude, from New York University. His academic achievements were recognized through multiple honors, including the Arthur A. Schomburg Graduate Fellowship, the Puerto Rican Bar Association Scholarship, and NYU’s University Honors Scholar designation.

Sigfredo is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey, and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey. He is bilingual in English and Spanish and maintains proficiency with leading legal research and document review platforms.

Aside from practicing law, Sigfredo is an accomplished Masters weightlifter. He is a two‑time New York State Champion, World Masters Champion, and multiple‑time Masters National Champion. His career includes repeated victories at the Howard Cohen American Open and Pan‑American Masters Championships, along with numerous local titles and awards. His record reflects decades of dedication, competitive excellence, and leadership within the weightlifting community.
