Biography
Jon joined Klee, Woolf, Goldman & Filpi, LLP in 2026 and concentrates his practice in New York workers' compensation law. He represents injured workers throughout every stage of the claims process, providing practical guidance, responsive communication, and dedicated advocacy to help clients navigate New York's workers' compensation system and secure the benefits they deserve.
Before joining the firm, Jon spent more than a decade representing insurance companies in all aspects of workers' compensation matters. That experience gives him a unique perspective on how claims are evaluated, defended, and resolved, allowing him to anticipate challenges and develop effective strategies that protect his clients' interests.
While in law school, Jon participated in the Bet Tzedek Legal Services Clinic, where he represented elderly clients in landlord-tenant disputes. Following graduation, he served as a post-graduate fellow at Sanctuary for Families, providing legal assistance to survivors of domestic violence. Those experiences reinforced his commitment advocating for individuals facing difficult circumstances and continue to shape his client-centered approach to practicing law.
Jon understands that a workplace injury can create uncertainty for workers and their families. He is committed to guiding clients through the legal process with compassion, clear communication, and diligent advocacy from the initial claim through resolution.
Outside the office, Jon is a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan and an avid film enthusiast.
